TRAINING VIDEOS

Video 1: Website Training

    • Duplicate existing pages and sections as much as possible if you’re adding more content to your site! This will help keep the integrity of the design intact, and save you loads of time (esp. on mobile view).

    • Design: Retain visual spaciousness and alignment to ensure a visually harmonious, nervous system friendly experience!

    • Text: Make the most of your different font styles and headers to create visually digestible, scroll-friendly content.

    • Imagery: Retain the use of light, textural natured-based imagery across marketing platforms. See Graphics section below.

Video 2: SEO Training

  • Organic (add-free) SEO takes time to see results, but can be very worthwhile in the long run. While I’ve completed all on-page SEO best practices, here are actions you can continue to take:

    1. Image Optimization: Images need to be high enough in in surface area (pixels), but low enough in weight (KB). This retains image quality without impacting loading speed, user experience and Google ranking! Rule of thumb: images should be no larger than 500KB,and full width banner images should be around 2000px wide. Bulk Resize Photos is my go-to platform.

    2. Keywords: Using keywords will help Google connect you to the right people. A default keyword format can be ‘who, what, where’ - who (you or your client) / what (your service) / where (your location). You can use keywords in image titles, page / site titles and descriptions, page URLs, headers, products and blog pages, etc.)

    3. Business Location: aside from adding you location in the key areas mentioned above, I also recommend creating ‘Google my Business’ Profile to help local customers find you

    4. Sharing & Updating: Google loves an active site, so the more you share and update your site the better! Blogging is a great way of keeping your site active and giving focus to specific keywords. For any old or ‘dead’ pages, either disable or delete them.

    5. Indexing your Site - while Google will eventually index your site, if you want to speed up the process, you can submit your site map to Google Search Console.
